Our Story

Todo is a little love letter to the lazy days we’ve had in Mexico City, stopping for huevos rancheros at Maqué, located off the park in La Condesa, followed by maybe a taco at El Califa, or a strong coffee or good jugo verde pretty much anywhere. 

Every restaurant is run by a family, whether or not it’s one you were born into. In our case, we are a mix of two native-California restaurateurs, a Mexican-born culinary director, a Guatemalan managing partner, and a Salvadoran creative director. We first came together at Tacolicious, the restaurant group Joe started in San Francisco in 2009.

We each bring our life experience to the table: Joe’s brazen love of hot pink, Mike’s ability to keep a project permitted and (sort of) on budget, Fernando’s memories of his first job as a kid at a tortilleria in Guanajuato, Maynor’s ninja-like kitchen efficiency, and Ron’s obsession with fonts.
